Cashmere is a type of traditional Iranian textile that has been produced in Iran since the distant past. Cashmere, like a hand-woven carpet, has warp and weft, and the weft is placed freely behind the cashmere fabric. Genuine Iranian cashmere is lacquered or maroon in color, and the Bete Jakeh or bent cedar design is an integral part of it. Today, cashmere fabric is woven in various designs and colors. In recent years, due to the delicacy of cashmere weave, cashmere fabric and cashmere tablecloths are woven and produced only in Yazd province. With more than a century of experience and 300 different designs, Yazd Cashmere is the provider of the most famous and high quality cashews in Iran.
