Initial construction by Mr. Seyed Javad Attar, in which he and his family lived for 70 years and then in the mortgage of education, since 1940, has been operating as Shams girls' school for 20 years.

After successive sales in 1976, Mr. Seyed Javad Taslim bought this building. He lived in this beautiful mansion for 25 years as a private home with his family. Finally, after a change of use and major changes in March 2004 as a traditional old hotel, a new chapter of this magnificent mansion began. Mr. Taslim and his children also welcome their guests and introduce a combination of the art of hospitality to tourists.

The hotel has two courtyards in the main phase, the inner courtyard and the outer courtyard, which has a total of 21 rooms and 75 beds. Guests are always served breakfast and internet in the courtyards is provided free of charge.

In the traditional old hotel of Kashaneh, in addition to easy access to the antiquities of the historical texture in the hotel space, it is also possible to visit the windbreak room, the subterranean aqueduct and the lofty roof with an excellent photographic view of the historical texture.

The Kohan Kashane traditional hotel, located in the heart of the historical context of the ancient city of Yazd, while close to historical monuments such as the Lari House, Iskandar Prison, the Twelve Imams, the Bazaar, the Grand Mosque and Coins and Anthropology Museum, also has attractions such as Payab  aqueduct and the roof overlooking the view of the windmills of Yazd.
