Alyaf Gostar Yazd Company was put into operation in 2014 in Yazd Special Economic Zone with the aim of producing various types of polyester fibers to meet domestic needs and reduce imports. The company is proud to enter this field with the continuous efforts of its hard-working managers and engineers, as well as with modern machines and in accordance with the latest technology in the world and using the best raw materials, with a production capacity of 50,000 tons per year.

Polyester fibers are a group of synthetic fibers that are formed by the polymerization of an ester. One of the most important polyester fibers is polyethylene terephthalate. The chemical structure of PET fibers consists of an acid and an alcohol obtained from the polymerization of ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid.

Polyester used in textiles is produced in two main ways: fiber and filament. The fable part is a consideration of the consumption of polyester in the form of spun fibers. Generally, the purpose of using polyester is to replace it with natural fibers in response to the growing needs of the world's growing population and to supply clothing and natural resources.

Polyester fibers are available in both short and long fibers. Short or cotton fibers are often used to replace cotton. In this system, 100% polyester fibers may be used or combined with one or more other fibers such as cotton, viscose, etc. Mixing polyester fibers with natural fibers, except for economic issues, improves the quality and increases the efficiency of the final product.
